Eternally chic, endlessly versatile, this late 90s early y2k slip maxi skirt by Dries Van Noten was made of paper thin, silky, subtle shiny gunmetal gray Rayon satin. The skirt was cut and sewn on the bias which encourages ultimate drape and movement. Sits atop the hips with a wide sweeping hemline, hidden side zip closure, unlined, full length. I've looked this up and down, inside and out, held it up to the light and checked ever seam...there is one area of minor mend near the zipper which appears to have been made to tack down the rolled hem. Shown close up in the last photo, looking from the inside. No other issues on this beautiful piece. I gently hand washed it, hung it up to air dry, and steamed prior to photographing.
