Women's 1980s vintage red wool wide sweeping swing coat with rounded collar, red buttons that close off to the side, two welt pockets, and a funky attached half belt in the back. Unlined. The wool is on the thin side, but there is a lot of it. The edges are decoratively serged without any chunky seams, and the coat is unlined. This coat was found at an estate sale of a 96 year old woman who had seriously amazing taste in long, oversized, artsy coats and other clothing. Her house was in LaConnor, WA, perched up on a hill overlooking the waterfront and islands and was filled with colorful art of all kinds. She had a pottery studio and painting studio and several other crafting stations. Basically exactly the kind of woman I'd love to be someday!
