Late 1950's early 60's vintage dress by Vogue Couturier in a red, pink, blue and black abstract floral printed medium weight, sturdy ribbed Cotton material. This beauty features a chic high boat neckline, darted bust, tapered waist with flat bow detail asymmetrically set at the waist. The skirt is secured at the side in a faux wrap design creating a very high slit that should be considered when wearing and walking as it shows quite a bit of leg. Curved bottom hem, hidden back Nylon zipper and metal hook loop closures. The bodice is lined with a thin black Cotton fabric with metal hook-loop clasps closing up the center back. The rest of the dress is unlined. The material is medium weight, sturdy, ribbed and offers little to no stretch. This dress appears nearly unworn with the only sign of wear being a patch on the hip that appears a bit "rubbed". Zoom in to the last photo for close up. It's not at all noticeable when worn and may have been a fabric construction issue and not from wear, as the dress itself appears unworn. Perfectly clean inside and out, very impressive construction and design, be prepared to drop jaws with your beauty and glamour!
