Beautiful and incredibly flattering, this vintage dress reminds one of a warm summer day garden party circa 1939...fitted nonelastic waistline, gathered bust, sweetheart neckline, and tulip pleated puffy cap sleeves. The slim bodice flows into a very long and wide sweeping maxi skirt. Hidden back Talon nylon zipper closure, unlined with very little stretch. The fabric is lightweight yet sturdy and slightly crisp, slippery to the touch by not silky per se. It's unique and is easy to care for. I hand washed the dress and hung it to dry with no issues. The side seam may have been taken in under the arm then let back out as there is a run that seems like it was made from taking out stitches. Shown in the last photo. Appears handmade from the inside with less than elegantly sewn seams and hems, but from the outside this looks expertly designed and is fits the form to perfection. There are no holes, stains or other issues aside from the previously mentioned run. This really is a gorgeous, stand out from the crowd kind of dress, I know you'll love it!
